Training to meet the requirements of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998

The above regulations require that persons who mount abrasive wheels are trained to perform the task. The duties and responsibilities of employers and employees are further extended by The Provision and Use of Work Equipment 1998.

  • The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
  • The Provisions and Use of Equipment Regulations 1998
  • The Personal Protective Equipment at Work Regulations 1992

Mount abrasive wheels of various types in accordance with statutory legislation
